Maggie Adams, Songwriter
Verse1
We are born...we're nurtured...we thrive
We live...we love...we strive
We age and then we die
Such is the reality of life
We can't evade it...we cannot change it
Verse 2
Alas, my time has come to pass
But darling this is not the end
Hold me in the chambers of your heart
And when the time is right we will reunite
Chorus
I'll wait for you on the other side
Where kindred spirits blissfully collide
I'll wait for you on the other side
Together we will blissfully abide
Music
Such is the reality of life
We can't evade it
We cannot change it
Bridge
REQUIEM...remember this is not the end
REQUIEM...our paths will surely cross again
Hold me in the chambers of your heart
And when time is right we will reunite
Chorus
I'll wait for you on the other side
Where kindred spirits blissfully collide
I'll wait for you on the other side
Together we will blissfully abide
Music
Such is the reality of life
But when the time is right
We will blissfully unite

STORY BEHIND THE SONG:
I wrote this song last year shortly after my dear sister-in-law, June Adams, passed away. I miss her permanent smile, her cheery voice on the phone and her long-lingering hugs.
Grief is the worst form of pain and I think this song offers comfort to the ones left behind.
